Aronfield Agency is looking for an eager, deadline-driven individual with a strong interest in and general knowledge of web development to join our growing team. We are constantly looking for the best ways to market our clients, so if you want to come work with us, it’s best that you be able to work outside your comfort zone and be eager to learn new technologies. If you have a portfolio or examples of personal projects that show an aptitude for programming, design or illustration, we’d love to see it!

We always have several projects going, so being able to start a project from scratch or jump into a project already in progress is a must! We want people who are self motivated and excel in a team-based environment.

Internships

Do you like to work in a fast-paced creative environment? Want to learn cutting-edge web development and marketing skills? How about gain real-world experience? We’re looking for interns!

Employment

We often hire freelancers to help with our project overflow. This pertains to not just web-based projects, but to our entire creative services department (writing, design, video, etc.). We also keep a roster of voice talents, actors, and models for various commercial projects. Organizational, problem-solving and communication skills are a must. You should be comfortable working with a team but also self-motivated. We always have several projects going on at once, so we want someone that willing to jump in.

The ideal applicant would:

–  Have at least 1-2 years of professional and/or educational experience in web development
– Possess SEO experience with a basic knowledge of Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
– Be Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery) and PHP programming languages

As well as the ability to:

– Conceptualize ideas on your own
– Develop responsive designs with an emphasis on user experience
– Maintain, modify and enhance existing websites and applications
– Develop and work with WordPress themes and plugins

This is a paid, part time, entry-level position with room for advancement. It is not a remote position, so reliable transportation is absolutely necessary. You will be required to work in our Charleston office.

Schedule: 15 hrs./wk.
Compensation: $8.75/hr. to start
